Massage Therapy in Yreka
Marsha’s interest in professional massage began with a ski accident almost twenty years ago, which left her with severe pain and an inability to walk for a year. In order to heal, she took massage classes and learned both relaxing and therapeutic techniques. After graduating from Mount Shasta School of Holistic Therapies in 2003, she studied highly effective Barefoot Shiatsu and became skilled in using both her feet to relieve pain in her clients. She specializes in Trigger Point Therapy, and deep tissue Swedish techniques with her hands. Marsha worked in a back and neck pain clinic for more than ten years, where she developed a specialty in pain relief, and her interest in helping her clients gain power over pain to reclaim their enjoyment of life. Marsha also is a certified high school art teacher, and a nationally registered board certified art therapist.
